My dad sent me this from the mad cow disease website (www.mad-cow.org).
Apparently Ukraine has now banned the import of ferrets and giraffes from
any countries afflicted with mad cow disease, along with more conventional
animals like cows and sheep that are known to have this.  It was on
Reuters.  Bet you didn't know that ferrets and giraffes had that much in
common!
