Oh, how the mind wanders when reading the FML...
 
(One of) the Peterson's wrote about the chordoma:

I immediately pictured my little Noel, lying peacefully in the sunshine
streaming though the window, holding her tail up for inspection and
thinking "My goodness, I thought it was longer yesterday..."
