Hello all,
This is Rosie and Maxie's Dad, Dave. Lisa, the girls and I just returned
from a wonderful (and hot!) vacation to see my folks in Southern California,
and we finally got a chance to meet Dayna, and sit and talk with her for
over 4 hours...
Well, she brought us two darling girl ferrets, one is 16 months old and is
named Miss Wiggles, and the other is a lot younger, but strong and full of
energy...we have named her Samantha...
It was great to finally meet Dayna, and she lived up to every
expectation...the woman is extremely knowledgable and kind-hearted, and took
time out of her busy schedule helping sick fuzzies to come see us. She
brought blankets, 10 pounds of food, yogurt treats, a hand-made 4-ferret
capacity sleep-sack, a bunch of toys, and last-but-certainly-not-least, 2
more sisters for our Rosie and Maxie. We are indebted to her forever for
this act of kindness, for she did not ask for one penny of our money, and
turned down the money we offered.
All that she asked was that we give these two angels a good home, and boy,
now that is an easy request! We got them home early this morning, and all 4
were ready to go! They ran all over the house and checked every little
corner out, dooked up a storm, hugged and kissed each other, and now they
are sleeping...
Lisa and I believe that Miss Wiggles is sent from God, for she is a petite,
little, albino girl who weighs no more than a pound and is so sweet and
gentle that you want to weep when you watch her play and wiggle her little
hindquarters when she walks and plays...
Samantha is a very big girl, which is a testament to Dayna's expertise in
nutrition and exercise, and she loves to wrestle with Rosie and Maxie and
climb the bed and run under the bookshelves and play peek-a-boo...
I am writing this post to let any of you who may still doubt Dayna's
credibility as a woman who has been devoted to helping sick and neglected
fuzzies for the last decade and a half that she is alive and well, and real
as rain, and thank The Good Lord for it!
