Our fuzzies got sick while we were on vacation, and have been diagnosed
with the dreaded green poop disease. Their stools are very soft and runny,
light brown color with *maybe* a tint of green. They've also had the
stuff for over a week now. The sitter took them to our regular ferret
vet (they have ferrets as well, and their's also caught it). The
drug being prescribed (Bentril? It's at home, I don't remember) seems to
work for one, maybe two of
our ferrets, but our oldest (3) doesn't seem to be helped by it.

We're taking them back to the vet today, but my questions are these:
Isn't the green poop disease supposed to be characterized by bright
green poop? Really bright? And since it has lasted so long,
doesn't this point to something else? I thought that with the green poop
they would either get better or not very quickly.

Any info is appreciated.......
