Hi,
I was at the pet store the other day and was talking about how to train
ferrets not to bite. One of the things that was suggested was pulling on
the ferret's whiskers. Of course, not yanking on them, but light tugs when
they bite too hard.

Any comments on this? I wouldn't want to do anything to harm our little
guys!

My other question is about teethbrushing (the ferret's teeth, not mine...:-).
Is this something that we need to do on a regular basis (if so I want to
start NOW so they can get used to it) or do we just let "nature" takes its
course? Our fuzzies dine on IAMS kitten food, so all that crunching should
help keep their teeth clean.

Thanx in advance for the advice!

jackie
