It's no joke, Steve - it works!  Many of us use this trick - I do myself.  I
can clip all 17 ferrets' nails in 20 minutes by doing this.  Some ferrets
don't like Ferretone - other things can be used such as Nutrical, Laxatone,
Peanut Butter, etc - whatever treat your ferret likes, put it on his belly
and clip to your heart's content.
