Dear Sara ferret,
 
Please dont feel badly.  Sometimes I think we think it is a burden to ask
you or the other greeters to check on our loved ones at the Bridge.  It
is so sad for us we dont want to make anyone else sad.
 
I would very much love it if you could check on the Scruff You Gang for
me.  The first to leave me was Frolic, a little rescue who died during
adrenal surgery.  Please tell her I am so sorry...... I didnt know the
vet didnt know how to do the right things.  BigFun, her cage mate is
there too.  I am sure he told her already how heartbroken he was when she
left.  Tell BigFun I really miss his hehehehe and playing tag with him.
Big silly goof!  Rolling thunder.
 
And Sterling, beautiful Sterling, uptown girl and escape artist
extrodinare.  How you are missed and thought of.  What a beauty you were
and how full of life and curiosity.
 
Then there is NobleMan.  My sweet old gent who lived just long enough to
be a ferret again and then left due to ferret mischief.  Your leaving
left such a hole, I screamed and screamed for you.
 
Pepsi, my little toy king, not afraid of anything.  Tell Pepsi that
Sassyfrass is still here.  She is the lil old lady from Pasedena.  She is
so old now tho.  I dont expect it will be long before they are reunited.
 
Please tell RinkyDink what a pure joy she was.  How much I loved her and
how much I cared for her.  Tell her I am so sorry that I could not save
her from the terrible start she got, not being weaned and all, but that I
am so thankful I was able to give her 5 years.  Please ask her to forgive
me for not letting her go during the painful times, especialy the last
time.
 
Blaze my dancing King.  Please tell him his mischeif is so missed.
Bonkers tries to fill his paws but to no avail.  Such a great big heart
in a tiny little body.  Pussy willow paws that held my heart so tenderly.
My comedian clown and my bully.  What a contradicition you were.
 
Jubilee, my Queen of everything.  You are with the ScruffYou Gang now
and I am here.......Sara, please tell her thank you for all of the joy,
the laughter, and yes even the tears that wonderful little lady brought
to me.  I love Jubilee so, my heart will never let her go.
 
Tell Navidad Merry Christmas for me.  Please tell him how sorry I am
he could not stay for another Christmas.  I have never known a gentler
ferret in spirit.
 
Last but not least, Sara, could you check on Naki for me?  Be careful,
he was my wolf cub I rescued and he never learned how to get along with
ferrets.  Use a bull horn to tell him how honored I was that he shared
his life with me and how much I miss him.
 
Tell them all Sara Ferret that I can still see all of their faces so
clearly.  I can feel the texture of their coats, some thick, some sparse,
some soft, some wiry, each different like a fingerprint.  I can still see
that special way each one moved and carried themselves.  I remember and
love each and every detail about them.  I can recall each personality so
distinctly and that while sometimes remembering them brings tears, there
are times when remembrance of their antics, their unconditional love,
their courage, light me from within.
 
Thank you Sara Ferret for all you do.  If we dont write, it is cause
sometimes it just gets too sad for us to remember.......... I am crying
now.  I miss my babies.
