Slinky has found a new toy he is in love with from a strange
source, so I thought I would share it with you all. About a year ago
my girl-friend got a child's toy for one of her cats. (Its hard
todescribe, but here goes) - Its a small cylindrical cannister that,
when turned over, makes a sound like a chick (they also make them for
cows and pigs). She got it because her cat goes nuts over bird calls,
and he seemed interested when it was first shaken, but quickly lost
interest.

When Slinky was over at Elin's place over the weekend, she
found this toy and was just moving it when Slink ran up. He absolutely
loves it, because whenever he moves it, it just makes more noise! The
first day he had it he spent about 30 minutes dragging it around
backwards with his front paws (do other people's ferrets do this?).

I don't know where to get these little things - a quick survey
of my local mall on Sunday came up blank - but they're great for carpet
sharks (as if they didn't have enough to steal).

Cheers - Mason, Slinky, and Leila (the cat who is starting to get
really tired of chick-like sounds).
