Hi everyone.....it is me again. Well I think the ear mite problem is
gone but one of my fuzzies it itchy all over, but mainly the ear area.
That is why I took him to the vet thinking ear mites. And he was treated
for that. I took him back to the vet and they looked in his ears and
found a very clean ear. They don't know why he is scratching so much.
It get so bad his tail turns into a "bottlebrush tail". The vet give
him a little shot of cortisone but that is just helping a little. I am
afraid when that wears off he'll be scratching a lot again. I've been
researching on a itchy ferret and I can't come up with anything on the
skin that he might have. When I wash the ferts bedding it get an extra
rinse so I doubt it is soap. The vet thinks it is an allergy to
something new but I can't think of anything and I am at a loss.

Could anyone out there help me with ideas?
