Try offering your ferrets the whole can of raisins with the lid off.  You
will be amazed at how polite they are.  Each of my ferrets waits their
turn, then sticks their head into the can, takes one raisin, then runs off
to eat it.  I would have thought they'd sit and gobble raisins, but they
are very "dainty" about it.
