Hi,

Am I ever one proud Mom. On the weekends my short fuzz kids get to go
upstairs into the forbidden zone, of course Boris, Natasha, Chester and
Amelia think this is great fun.

Our house is a nice size house, and we are lucky in that it was easy to
proof. I do close off two of the upstairs rooms, my husband's office and
the guest bedroom. I always take one of the fuzzy litter boxes upstairs,
but wondered why they never use it or that I never found poopie presents
anywhere from them. Today I figured it out, they all come back downstairs
and use the cat bathroom! Yes, the cats have their very own bathroom. The
fuzz kids think it is great fun to use the cat litter boxes. Of course Mom
just thinks they are being brilliant and wants to brag about them.

As for interaction with the cats, they all seem to be getting along, the
cats know how to hide from them. One of my cats, Cody the tawny Ocicat, is
trying to learn to play with them, even making up new games, like getting in
a box and bopping their little heads when they come near. The fuzzes don't
seem to mind, they get even when he gets out of the box by running at him
with open mouths.

BIG is correct about PCs and Y2K. I work as a computer professional, I'm
the NT Administrator for 8 servers and manager for 500+ PCs. Older PCs
will not be Y2K compliant. Some of these systems will be able to have the
Bios flashed with a new image, if you don't know how to do this, have a
professional do it for you. If you are running Windows 3.1 or 3.11 you are
out of luck.

Most likely things are just going to have the wrong dates on them if your
system is not Y2K compliant. I might add the even Microsoft is no longer
promising that their products are going to be Y2K compliant. I doubt very
much that things are going to come to a halt on 1/1/2000, but just to be on
the safe side at the company I work for the IS staff is going to hide food
under the raised floor in the computer room and lock ourselves in, those
that have enough years are taking their sabbaticals. LOL

Just don't get so worked up about this it's not worth it, play with you
fuzzes and enjoy life, it's far to short and beside you might get hit by
a bus tomorrow.

Suzy
