It has been known to me for years, that formaldehyde is outgassed in
***NEW*** trailers and mobile homes. The outgassing only occurs for a
short period of time..like..months, not years and years. If the new
mobile home or trailer has been made with any particleboard, outgassing
is normal. New, inexpensive, assemble it yourself furniture is made of
particleboard...it outgasses formaldehyde as well.
