Our sweet little ferret,Gillian, is a holy terror at the food dish.  She
digs the food out of the dish, takes a piece out of the dish, and runs up
stairs to eat it.  We have a paper plate under the cage to recycle the food
but we really want to teach her not to do it.  We rigged up a can with
pennies in it and dropped it next to the cage when she would start doing
it.  Well that lasted about a week and she got used to it.  We don't know
of anything else to cease this annoying habit.  PLEASE HELP!!!
