Hi to the FML! I believe that if we all work together and do it politely -
we can make needed changes and help get the proper and correct information
out there about ferrets! I wrote to the person that was in charge of the
Spotlight on Wichita '99 brochures that are available to people who inquire
about the city and received this nice response from them.....

David & Tracy,

Thank you so much for your information. Somehow our researcher has missed
this piece of information several years in a row and I am so glad that you
brought it to our attention. We spend many months updating Spotlight every
year and want to make it as accurate as possible, so your note is very much
appreciated. The following is the information I received and will put in
the next edition.

"Ferrets are allowed in the city but must be vaccinated against rabies. If
outside, they must be leashed or caged. Animal control personnel point out
that ferrets are quite adept at escape and recommend that they be kept
inside."

Thanks again.
Susan
