I think the MF #24 went a bit too far with the Halloween "gag" pictures.
I've been getting MF since issue #1.  I do not mind them "stretching" the
point in their magazine, I do mind a set of pictures depicting ferrets very
negatively.  Eric mentioned yesterday about including pictures of ECE /
green slime poop in the early issue(s); while it may not be a pleasent
subject it was very helpful and probably helped many get their fuzz-butts
to a vet for treatment "in time".  Even the controversial issue regarding
Tiffany Taylor depicted the ferrets in a positive light.  Had they
"glorified" Tiffany's work for Playboy that would have side-tracked the
positive impact of her and her ferrets.  I have no problem with the Tiffany
issue, this Halloween deal was way over line and even though it was meant
 
to be funny or humorous, it sure came off as a very negative issue on
ferrets and their care.
