I am getting sick and ftired of everyone flaming Petco.  Any responsible
ferret owner would take the time to educate the local pet stores on proper
ferret care.  We did this at our local Petco's and as a result they will
not take Marshall ferrets unless they are at least 8 weeks.  They have also
started to using local breeders who will ensure the health, age, and proper
handling of ferret kits.  These stores now have ferret knowlegable
employees, most are ferret owners.
 
On a second note petco allowed a local shelter to hold an adoptathon in
their store.  They even put their ferrets in the back room for the day as
not to compete.
 
INSTEAD OF LETTING FUZZY'S SUFFER TRY EDUCATING IT JUST MIGHT WORK!!!!!!!
