Hi all, I just joined this list again after being unsubscribed for a few
months...Let me give you some back round, then my question :)

My Fiance and i bought 2 ferrets about a year ago. One albino 'Angel' and
one sable 'Maya'bother fixed/descented females. When we bought them we had
to drive a ways and we where planning on buys kits. When we got to the
pet/supply store they had a group of kits all sable (we wanted to get 2
different kinds) and a few cages with various older types that never sold.
We saw a very small cage with 2 females together. As soon as we walked up
the cage they both went to the bathroom IN THE LITTER BOX! We asked the
women there how old they where and she said they where about 3 months. We
decided to save them from a life in a tiny cage and we brought them home.
We where very excited because we had been learning about ferret care/fun
for a long time.

Its been just over a year since we bought them and a lot has happened.
Our albino got sick and after $500+ vet bills she her heart just failed
her...she crossed the rainbow bridge in our arms.

Ever since then our other ferret Maya has not been the same. She has gone
back to biting and she never plays with US anymore. We thought about
getting another friend for Maya but the work involved is more then we have
right now. We are looking for a home for her. I would like to find a
multi-ferret home with someone who has the time to help brake her of
biting. I have been working on her ever since we bought her and i can't
seem to do it. No matter what we try. I want to find a loving home as
soon as possible for her own good. I just don't feel she is happy
alone...she needs a friend/some friends...If anyone can take on another
ferret please send me a private message so we can talk about locations. I
am in the NV, AZ, CA area and would be willing to drive within these states
on the western end to place her. She is very very smart and of course soo
cute it hurts! :)

We have had a hard time deciding to give her up, and we would not but she
needs to be in a multi-ferret home. We need someone that can give her the
time she needs and some ferret friends would be great...We have had her
around many other ferrets, she always gets along with them great...never
had a problem with her getting along with anyone...We are wiling to give
her away...no $...we have a HUGE cage, 2 litter boxes, water/food dishes
and 2 hammocks that are free too...We want her to feel safe in her new
surroundings so we want to let her keep her home :).

Please send me a private message if you can help.
