Hi, Bruce.

Just a little clarification here on why my friend had to have her ferret
put down. He had already been operated on for adrenal tumer about a year
ago. None-the-less, he was only three years old when he had his
original surgery. He had recovered very nicely from that one, but about
six months ago he started losing his fur again. When she took him in to
be put down, he had lost almost all his fur from his middle on back. He
had a great deal of trouble using his hind legs. He couldn't hardly walk
anymore. She (my friend) was also hand feeding him. It was an ongong
problem for him.

I didn't want you to think that she got a diagnosis of adrenal tumer and
immediately had him put down. I'm sorry if that is the message that was
conveyed in my previous posting.

Pat and the gang.
