Surgery to remove the chordoma is very simple. The ferret will feel
much happier and healthier once it is removed.

I would not recommend letting it get any bigger than it has because
the ferret's health will decline.

To compare: if you have a bowling ball weighing you down, wouldn't
you want to get rid of it?

I am not a vet. I volunteer weekly at the local GCFA ferret shelter
and I have seen a few bad ones. They all survive and live happier
lives after surgery.
