Kat implied nothing.  What she posted was a general inquiry to shelters
about their policies on making decisions on surgeries..... Please do not
flame Kat for this post.  She has one of the biggest hearts I know of.
There is no guilt trip being laid on anyone for the way they operate.
Yes there are times when one must be realistic regarding surgeries but
there are also situations...(and I know this from personal experience)
where there are ferrets who could have a better quality of life and are
not receiving it not because of lack of funds but because of politics.
That is wrong in my book and I'm sure many other rescues would agree.
