I finally found a supply of 8 foot clear dryer hoses.  I found them at a
local building supply/lumber/home supply store, Crissy Fouler (This may be a
local only).  The cost is under $4.00 and my trio have abandoned the opaque
plastic hoses for the clear.  They love it, and I love to watch them.  So
all of you still looking, don't give up.
