Hope this gets through ok. I have been reading Mailing List
from the begining but have not seen any discussion on cages.
I am looking into getting a ferret sometime in the next several
month and am trying to set up the environment. First I have
to apply for the permit, NY state, which makes referance to
housing demension. I would much like to allow my ferret to
have free roam of the apartment but that will have to come
after I find out what Ferreting A Room means. Can anyone
help me with basics of getting started from scratch.
 
        - prefered ferret type
        - recommended cages
        - etc, etc, etc
