Hi, Ferreteers!

RE: Getting into walls
Bungee got inside a wall in the basement of my mom's house. She got stuck
trying to turn around in the wall. She was scratching around before, but when
she got stuck and stopped making noise, I got scared and punched a hole in
the wall and got her out. I repaired the wall, and my mother forgave both
me and Bungee!

NEW TOPIC: Tinkerbelle (Belle) has started grabbing my wife by the hand
and trying to pull her under the dresser. Never me, just my wife. She's
gone through a phase like this before, but we thought it might be some sort
of jealousy.

See, when we first got Belle, she had something like the Green Diarrhea
Sickness. Our vet prescribed Amox. and Pedialyte, and my wife kept Belle
with her all the time. Belle became a very happy, healthy silvermitt, and
grew *VERY* close to my wife. When Belle was about a year old, we adopted
an orphaned kitten, and my wife gave the kitten the same sort of attention
she had given to Belle when she was little. That is about when Belle started
trying to pull my wife under the dresser. My wife is a real good sport, and
usually went along with it. After a couple weeks, Belle just started ignoring
my wife. Belle would give me kisses and cuddle with me, but not with my wife.
We thought maybe Belle was trying to get "Mommy's" attention, but when that
failed, she just blew "Mommy" off.

Well, a couple weeks ago, after months of being ignored, my wife was deemed
worthy of kisses and cuddles again by Belle. We thought all was forgiven, but
just last night, Belle grabbed my wife by the hand and pulled her towards the
dresser again. Belle wouldn't leave her alone all night! We have no new
"babies" for Belle to be jealous of, so we're wondering what's going on!
It's really a cute behavior, but we're wondering if it means she's unhappy
about something. Any "ferret psychologists" out there?

Thanks for any help,
