Dave Burket ask about a lump on the end of his ferret's tail.  Most likely
it's a common chordoma.  They are easily removed by a ferret knowledgeable
vet and seldom reappear.  We've had, I believe, two removed in about 700
ferrets through our shelter, and other than having a slightly shorter tail,
the ferrets were none the worse for wear.
