The person writing "The Great Gravy Adventure" wants others to laugh, smile
a little, and have some fun. The story -- and that's all it was -- was
marvelously funny, toungue-in-cheek, and not meant to be taken seriously at
all. Step down off the soapbox, loosen up a little and smile. Of course
the story was humorous, it was designed to be. And Limejello did a
fantastic job.

That IS the only thing that deeply offended you? In the same FML, Ed
Lipinski admitted to falsifying the newspaper article he claimed to have
quoted verbatium, and you didn't find THAT offensive? Good googlywoogly,
it isn't a sin to have a sense of humor (no matter how absurd). I checked.
There is no comandment "Thou shalt not have a sense of humor." But, there
is a commandment against lying. I checked that one, too, to make sure
("Thou shalt not bear false witness").

To Limejello,
Your story was delightful, absurd, hilarious, and refreshing. Keep up the
fantastic work. For many years I wrote a syndicated humor column for
college newspapers under the byline "Uncle Snavely," and discovered that
some people just can't recognize humor even if it smacks them in the face
(and your story certainly was smack-you-in-the-face funny). I even wrote
a couple of Snavely stories for the FML, but decided not to continue them
because some people took them seriously and got in a snit. Please, keep
sharing your delightful sense of humor with us -- we could use a lot more
laughter.
