Here's my question...everyone seems to say that ferrets should wear a bell
or ID collar around the house in case they get out. I've tried to get them
to wear collars, and guess what...they can get them off no matter how tight
they are (and I don't want to strangle them). Can someone tell me how to
teach them to wear them, or is it okay to let them wear a harness around the
house. I have two Marshall's harness sets (they seem to work the best for
me, since they aren't velcro and don't tighten up to punish the poor things
like some of the figure 8 harnesses do)...has anyone tried letting them wear
those around with an ID tag attached? The harnesses don't seem to hamper
their mobility and dont' come off.

Also, just a note for whoever questioned whether ferrets would eat
broccoli... mine do, all of my family's ferrets LOVE it. they raid the
grocery bags hunting for it whenever we go shopping and they'll carry off
stalks of it and gnaw on them.

Thank you to whoever posted the Winter Weasels thing...I think I might make
a few of those for the ferret-owning people in my family (almost everyone)
as christmas gifts (since I have very little money). It's a great idea and
I think they'll like it. Thanks for posting that!

Hope everyone's fuzzies are doing well.
