Well, I just sent off my $100 donation to the Kodo fund.  Who needs books
for summer classes?  ;>)
 
Someone mentioned that there is a vaccine for rabies, for people.  Obviously
in this case its too late but the post was in reference to that case
involving a Vet.  Tech.  For everyone's general knowlege, all veterinary
students and vet tech students at Michigan State University are required to
have the vaccine before they can work in the clinic.  I am really surprised
this isn't true at other schools and in clinics.  MAybe we should all ask
our vet the next time we visit if everyone who works there has had the
vaccine.  I think someone told me its about 150-200 dollars for the series
of 3 shots.  Since MSU pays, I can't be sure though.  One would think that
this would be an investment any tech or vet would be willing to make
considering the risks.
