Ferret Rescues in Colorado-You said that you are inundated with
ferrets (how many do you have)? I thought I heard somewhere that
you are at capacity when you have 6, not sure if that is true.

Here is a thought: I know some people have a bad image of the Dumb
Friends League but I know that you can take any ferret there (to the
Denver or Castle Rock location) or tell people on your waiting list to
take them there as well. They never turn an animal away and they work
with a very good Colorado Ferret rescue group to place ferrets that
may have behavioral or medical issues that are not treatable/adoptable
at DFL. Since working with this rescue they have been very successful
in getting ferrets into loving homes versus the alternative.

I hope that Colorado ferret rescues will all come together to help
ferrets, that is what we are all here for isn't it. Let's not close
ourselves off to each other and remember why it is that we do what
we do.
