I covered the ramps in my ferret cage with cut off trouser legs.  Both
of my ferrets slide down the ramps inside the pants legs.  One even
sleeps in the pants legs on occasion, but that is off the point.
 
Yes, ferrets will probably use the slide..  <smile>
