Rowan and all others who don't want to be part of the problem:
Yes, you are correct.  Ferrets & the Ferrets USA annual are published by
Fancy...
 
And yes, I have personally heard two of the people who submit articles for
publication to them say something to the effect that "the editor is a real
pain" about what they include as informative or necessary.
 
Do all ferret owners who bother to read for self-education and the people
who write articles for them a favor by writing to the editor, Russ Case,
P.O.  Box 6050, Mission Viejo, CA 92690 and asking him to please quit
giving his writers such a hard time about what "should" and "shouldn't" be
included as being useful & necessary information.
 
Thanks for pointing out the need for getting good information.  Please be
a part of the solution.
