FYI Defenders of Wildlife is in opposition to Ferret Legalization in
California.
 
They are listed as opposition and testified in opposition to SB89 the
ferret amnesty bill which would not have even legalised ferrets.
 
The problem with alot of groups is that though you may agree with them on
some issues, the other issues they support are in direct opposition to
you.  If you are a member of DOW I would encourage you to educate them
about ferrets.  If you would like to become a member let them know how
you feel about their opposition to ferret legalization.
