Hello everyone,
I have a very important question that I need answered as soon as possible.
Has it ever been proven or disproven that toxoplasmosis can be carried by
and passed on by ferrets. (I had been told that cats get it from killing
birds and things, is this true and if so how can my ferrets have it?) I am
five months pregant and my husband has been taking care of my three ferrets.
However he is thinking about getting rid of them because he feels that he
can not take care of them properly. Before getting pregant I took care of
cleaning the litter boxes, scooping twice a day. Unfortunatly he works alot
and can not keep up on the boxes that I could, therefor they (the ferrets)
are crapping everywhere. Please, anyone who can answer this question,
e-mail me privately. I do not want to try to find a loving and caring home
for three ferrets, not to mention the heartbreak I would go through.

thanks - [log in to unmask]
