The US Forest Service is planning on poisoning 18,000 prairie dogs in
the Thunder National Grassland because of pressure from ranchers on
land bordering this area. People only have until Jan 3 to protest the
poisoning. Go to the Defenders of Wildlife website to see what you
can do.
