Ferrets are legal in my state, but I just found out that my city has a law
that if you live within the city limits and have a child under 3 you can not
own a ferret.  Evidentially, a child had the tip of her nose and ears chewed
off by a ferret a few years ago and the city council banned the ownership of
ferrets for people with young children within the limits.  Has anyone heard
of this before???  Now I have to keep my little fuzzy a secret!!!  It is
like living in a ferret-banned state!!!!
