HEAR!HEAR! I've really been thinking about this a lot lately since I am
doing a "CA vs. Ferret Owners" project for my environmental science class.

He could have done so much good and helped the community through lobbying
and such, but instead, he chose to foolheartedly take a ferret out in
public where it's illegal. I've been reading a lot of information on the
DFG and (whether it's true or not, I don't know) but their position seems
to be to just ship illegal ferrets out of the state. Even though his
ferret bit someone, had he cooperated, would they have allowed it to live
with proof of a rabies shot? I wonder and I really hate the outcome.
The poor baby could still be alive and he could have visited the ferret.

The fight is a good fight. I agree with it, but it has to been done
correctly and with a cooler more calculated head. Violence just gets
you killed, injured, or at the most, thrown in jail.

He could have continued on a the path he was on. He was lobbying,
protesting, and doing it the right way. Why the change?

Love those fuzzies,

April and the dooking delights...
