This is an appeal for fairness on this mailing list. This appeal is
directed to Bill Gruber and to those who would attack a person for his
message but who do not identify the message that is being addressed.

It should be obvious to all that launching an attack on someone without
identifying why that person is being attacked is grossly unfair, insofar
that it most certainly doesn't allow a rebuttal to the attack, since the
very nature of the attack in unsaid.

I should hope that a fair minded moderator would correct this type of
defamation by at least citing the reason for the attack in a situation
where neither he nor the victim knows the basis for the attack.

I call to attention the recent "Don't know Ed Not any more," by Ms. P Wood
Georgia, in which is stated, "Ed, that was unacceptable behavior. You
shouldn't have done that."

Done what?

What the hell is she talking about? Do you know, BG? I certainly don't.

I would respectfully request that you challenge an accuser for a reason
before you release such a one-sided, and apparently bigoted posting to the
list.

Edward Lipinski

(By the way, the name is EDWARD and not "Ed," and I would most sincerely
request that I be addressed henceforth as such.)

OK! I feel better now.

[Moderator's note: Yes, Edward, I did contact her to get clarification,
as my moderator's note mentioned. I believe she wrote to you directly
as well. She has been a defender of yours on the list for a long time,
and knows you well enough to communicate directly, I'm sure.

Now, if the note was an attack, as in a flame, you are correct, it might
not have been posted. BIG]
