I am a new subscriber to the ferret FML.

I have experienced many difficulties in feeding my ferrets. First of all,
the boy particularly, is extremely fussy. But second of all is that since I
live in an area that prohibits ferret ownership, there is a limited stock of
ferret foods. The few that I have found contain only 10% fat! That is too
little for my active kids. Another issue I have been grappling with is that
of corn glutton meal. I wish I remembered where I read this, but
ubfortunately do not. I had read that ferrets who ate diets including of
corn glutton meal had a higher rate of getting stones, I believe it was
kidney stones but I am not sure. I have only found one suitable food on the
market, Nutro Max Natural Kitten food. And miraculously enough, my fussy
children love it!
