Hi Kim

My husband is currently being treated for gullet cancer, this is daily
radiation and weekly chemo. We were told that he does not radiate
chemicals but passes them with urine and saliva, so it is important not
to let the ferrets lick her or let them near the toilet. I was warned
that some animals can smell the chemicals and might respond to this,
but our ferrets have not been bothered by it.

My husband is into his third week and I have seen no negative effects
in the ferrets, he cuddles them when they come to him, but does not let
them give him kisses.

Wish your friend all the best.

Regards [SN]
