Hello,
My best friend just came home to find one of her 2 ferrets near death. She
died on the way to the vet. She was bleeding very dark blood from the anas
area. The vet thinks it was an intestinal virus. As of last night (Sunday)
her boys had said she was a "bit"slow but still playful. Monday afternoon
she was found with this condition. Her playmate was also found dehydrated
and the vet administered fluids and told the family to be very watchful as a
death of a playmate can effect the survivor.

Has anyone heard of this condition?

She was so very much loved and will be missed...

Thank you
Scott.
For Sharon, Sam (surviver) and her boys...
