A while back someone mentioned cleaning ears by placing a generous amount of
sweet oil(olive) and just massaging it around then letting all the icky
stuff just pour out.  Is this method ok, or is there a chance of trapped
oil, or insufficient cleaning?
 
It's just that with a Qtip, I don't feel the job is very thorough since I
worry about going too deep.  Anyone have experience with this oil "bath"
method?
