No, all late neuters are not aggresive as you described.  My little
'Rocket Man" that I have now wasn't done till over 4 years old and is a
kissy sweetheart.  I have had several over the years and find that once
neutered it takes a month or so for the hormones to completely settle
down, and a coat change to get rid of the orange fur.  They seem to lose
that real bull dog appearance after a while and the body slims down.
