Just a funny thought occured to me as I was reading all this
ferrets & beer correspondence ... if the little guys really go nuts for the
taste, why not give them an occassional capful of one of those non-alcoholic
beers? They're suposed to taste the same, aren't they?

Also, what attracts ferrets to beer might possibly be what makes
people crave it so much - the acidity. Our little girl loves Grape,
Cranberry, and Apple juices (all unsweetened, of course), which have lower,
but similar levels of acidity. We don't give her bunches, but a capfull
every other day or so.
