I might suggest either a shelter or an owner who could provide to care for
your ferrets.  If a private owner who is willing to keep your ferret- ask
them if you can visit the ferret every so often.  I did two rescues and the
new owner told us, we could visit any time.  They kept the rescues as their
own..I'm so sorry your in the spot you are in.
 
Also, ask around forums for vets who will take payments on surgery.  If you
need other forums to post on, please email me.  There are many vets who
will work with you.... I would offer to do cleaning or whatever to help pay
the ferrets cost of surgery... Believe me, many may need just receptionist
type of service.  Heck, I would volunteer to clean a vets home if needed.
