Any advice for this particular problem...our 9 1/2 week old baby boy has
taken to pooping on the ramp of the cage at night or when taking naps
during the day.  The ferrets have their own room, and the cage is left
open at all times.  If he's up, he uses the designated corner in the
back LEFT side of the cage.  If he's on the second story in the hammock,
he uses the RAMP that goes downstairs, which is in the back RIGHT side
of the cage.  He knows that the papertowel is to poop on, because like I
said, if he's on that level, that's where he goes.  Its like he's too
lazy to go down to the paper towel.  BTW, he can go up and down the ramp
with ease.
