There was a cute ferret-related cartoon in the Washington Post today,
Thursday, Dec.5, 1996. The cartoon is "Over the Hedge" by Michael Fry and
T. Lewis.

The cartoon features two animal characters. One, the racoon, is
writing to Santa: "...Who has time for climbing down chimneys? Here's the
ticket...Trained ferrets. They're in, they're out. No muss, no fuss.
No Chimney? No Problem! They'll go through a dryer vent like salsa
through a goose!"

The other character is writing a song as the racoon writes to
Santa: "Better watch out, better not cry, better not pout, I'm tellin'
you why. Santa Weasel's comin' to town!"
