Yes, this is but one serious concern for some individuals when considering
Marshall ferrets or products.  Marshall also operates under Marshall
Research, in which they actively promote ferret use in lab research.  The
research use reportedly includes vivisection.  Horrific for some, but not
so for others.
 
I am told Path Valley does not sell or promote *any* ferrets for this
purpose and vehemently opposes such use.  Even though some of us are already
aware of this difference, many are not.
 
PLEASE.  This is not in any way intended to open a heated debate about lab
use and animals as most of us have already formed strong opinions on either
side, and it is generally considered a "clash of absolutes".  Any attempt to
sway opinions to either side are usually analogous to pi**ing upwind.  It
remains a very personal, and sometimes very emotional decision.  But this
awareness does help one to make an "informed" decision when purchasing and
offer alternatives.  Thanks for the reminder.
