This is a wonderful statement.  The very best ferret owners are the ones
who are willing to adapt.  Over and over and over again.  It's much easier
to change your own habits in simple ways that to fight frustratedly day
after day with these clever little creatures.
 
People cannot bring a ferret (or cat, dog, any animal for that matter...)
into their home and expect it to act like a human.
