Thank you for all the kind emails regarding my poem. Joshua actually
passed in 1994. Of course that in no way diminishes his loss. I have
had 12 more ferrets since him. Since I lost a ferret this year close to
Christmas and since this has been a tough holiday season AND inspired
by Sue's poems, I felt the tribute was appropriate at this time. For a
male he was a runt, but his spirit was huge. He was the reason ferrets
became part of my life. thus, the reason for meeting so many great
people.
