It appears to be insulinoma. Her x-rays were normal but her blood sugar
was down. The vet gave her some dextrose and her walking improved right
away. I have researched the disease on the web and one important piece
of info is missing:

How long will she survive after surgery? Assuming that we caught it early,
does she have a year? six months? If we did not catch it early will she
live 6 mths, a year?

She is only two years old and this is really distressing because I lost
Winnie to lymphosarcoma at about the same age.

I know I will not be able to replace Doris if she goes because of the ECE
threat in this area and in most pet store ferrets. Her mama, Ootz (not
biological mama), is a 6 yro MF(all five of ours have been MF) and I can't
risk exposing her at this point.

I really need a reply quick as I have to call the vet to arrange surgery.

Thanks,
