Hi all!  Just wanted to inform anyone in the Central Florida area that we
will be having a yard sale fundraiser for the shelter.  it will be at one
of our member's homes.  The address is 5315 North Lake Burkett Lane/Winter
park/32792.  A bunch of people have donated all kinds of stuff.  So- if
you are in the area stop on by.  You'll have a chance to meet some of us
and to pick up some good deals.
 
Also, on December 1st and 2nd we will be in the adoption tent at the
annula Loch Haven Winterfest Pet Fair.  We'll have tons of brochures to
hand out.  We are looking forward to the opportunity to meet people and
to really get our name out there.  We have so many great ferrets that need
homes and hope the exposure will help them.  If anyone out there plans on
attending, stop by the adoption tent and look us up!
 
We rescued a little, 18 week old this week.  She was so frail and dirty
and neglected.  She was also already in her 3rd home!  Poor little thing
ate and ate and ate and..  we had to stop her so she would not vomit.
Poor thing.  She's doing great now, getting use to playing with people and
towels and bunched up newspaper balls.  She may even have a home already!
It's good to know that her life started so horribly but will have a great
one here after.  If only all surrenders went this well... LOLOL
 
I send my condolences to those who have lost ferrets recently and send
good thoughts to all of those that are ill or scheduled for surgery.
 
Hope everyone had a safe Halloween and that despite the looks that they
gave you, you did not give TOO many candy corns to your kids!!  LOLOLOL
